All For One is committed to serving the community at large with respect and inclusiveness regardless of religion, ethnicity or nationality.

We originated as a Muslim community organization, but we work to advocate human rights, dignity and justice, a platform for peace and solidarity

Goals and Objectives

  • Diversity and Inclusion

    Work together to address issues of Islamophobia, anti-semitism, homophobia, bigotry, racism, hate and discrimination in all its forms.

    Promote mutual understanding, civic engagement, through student and community panels / forums.

  • Awareness and Outreach

    Create awareness and raise funds to address human suffering and violation of human rights including refugee crises and resettlement.

    Support local and global efforts on health, education, and strengthen vulnerable populations such as women and youth

  • Health Access

    Assist the uninsured with basic medical services. Provide solutions for the mental and social issues that face senior citizens and their families.

Accomplishments

COVID-19 Food Drive


Raised money and distributed groceries for 4000+ families struggling with food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic through joint community effort in NY, donations to the Food Bank, and Dutchess Outreach

 

Refugee Resettlement

Collected and distributed funds and other items for the refugee resettlement in Albany and Schenectady.

 
 

Community Building

Raised funds to benefit older adults in local nursing homes, cancer patients, the autistic community, the fire department, and a scholarship for high school students.

 
 
 

International Relief Efforts

Worked on health efforts in Pakistan (Koohi Goth Women’s Hospital, Indus Hospital), Haiti, Yemen, India and Somalia.

Recognition and Collaboration

Recognized outstanding contributions of civic leaders and advocates for human rights, and those who provide compassionate services in the area of healthcare.

Co-sponsored events with Dutchess County Commission on Human Rights, Mid Hudson Islamic Association (MHIA), Dutchess Interfaith Council, Jewish Muslim Alliance.

  • All for One Mutual Aid

    Youth-led initiative to raise funds for communities facing crises.

    Provide aid in local refugee resettlement

  • School and Community Forums

    Moderated student and community panel discussions to address expressions of hate, racism, gun violence, bullying, and discrimination.

  • Health Initiative

    Local: Provide subsidized health services to uninsured patients. Plan to run a free clinic, in partnership with community doctors and healthcare workers.

    Global: Collaborate with other US institutions to help underdeveloped countries by providing healthcare to vulnerable communities

  • Multicultural Awareness/Events

    Organize multicultural events aimed to increase cultural sensitivity and promote diversity.

  • Community Youth Initiative

    A group-sourced fund to provide enrichment options for local under served youth, to encourage growth and motivate interest in non-scholastic areas. This can take the form of access to music/sport/culinary lessons, vocational training, working in community farms, etc.

COVID-19 Food Insecurity Relief

Poughkeepsie May 2020

On May 31, 2020 we co-organized a joint community effort food drive with Rabi Sinha MD. At the Poughkeepsie Galleria parking lot, we distributed over 2000 food bags to help with food insecurity caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On October 25, 2020 we continued our effort to alleviate food insecurity with our second joint effort community food drive. We distributed over 600 bags.

Dover Plains 2021
